Most things get done quicker when there is a team of people working together to reach the goal. Bringing people together to share talents, skills, time, possessions and most importantly LOVE is necessary in organizations like Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2: 14-17
We share this quote, not to make you feel guilty, but as a reminder to all of us that we can’t just talk about our faith; we must show it! If we are called to help those in need, consider what your actions and LOVE for those in our maternity home or transition house can accomplish.
Your LOVE can:
Help a woman regain her self-worth
Provide food and clothing for a child
Assist with housing for a family
Bring Jesus to women and their children
Teach women a new skill
Maintain our homes and landscaping
Do you have time to drive one of our residents to the grocery store or to work? Would you be able to house sit while our house manager goes out for an appointment with one of our residents? Can you manage a Baby Bottle Campaign or Angel Tree at your church or place of employment. Many of these things don’t take a lot of time, but they take a lot of heart! Your giving makes an immediate difference.
