ABOUT OUR EAST DUNDEE MATERNITY HOME

Our Illinois home is located in East Dundee, providing supportive maternity housing for mothers across Kane, Cook, McHenry, DuPage, and Lake counties. We accept applications both locally from the Chicago suburban area and nationally from women across the country who are willing to relocate for our program.
Located in East Dundee in Chicago's northwest suburbs, Redeeming Life's Illinois maternity home program provides safe, no-cost residential housing and supportive services for single pregnant women in crisis.
The East Dundee maternity home is bright and comfortable, and every room and bedroom is furnished. This home can support up to four residents at once. The bedrooms are furnished with a twin bed, dresser, alarm clock, linens and towels, and a crib.
A residential manager (RM) oversees all activities in and around the home. The RM is a go-to and present resource to the residents and is the primary staff member who provides support for their daily living.
We desire that each woman who comes for help at Redeeming Life experiences God's love and support to be successful. We will provide on-going mentoring to her to learn how to manage a household and finances, and create a joyful, peaceful home for herself and baby.

Free maternity home housing for pregnant women. There is no cost to live at Redeeming Life.

WHAT THE EAST DUNDEE HOME PROVIDES
This single family home was remodeled in 2023 and has been operational since 2024 and is the second maternity home opened by Redeeming Life. It was renovated and remodeled for residential living with four resident bedrooms, two shared bathrooms, and a modern and comfortable kitchen, living, and dining space. The home has installed safety and security equipment including smoke detectors, a door access control system, a monitored alarm system and a surveillance system for protection.
LIFE AT THE MATERNITY HOME
Residents of the East Dundee, Illinois maternity home northwest of Chicago enjoy comfortable surroundings in a family environment with year-round climate control. Residents have access to WiFi and laptop computers to help with employment, homework and program studies. The Program Manager meets with residents on a regular basis in the Office located off the kitchen.

MEET EAST DUNDEE'S HOST CHURCH FAMILY
Immanuel Lutheran is a thriving congregation under the leadership of Pastor Bill Yonker. Immanuel offers our residents many opportunities to learn about Jesus and serve Him while welcoming them into a loving church family. Immanuel provides the residents with opportunities for worship and Bible study, and to simply love and accept the residents as God’s children, dearly loved by Christ. As the host congregation, Immanuel has no operational responsibilities in the maternity home.
