ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI EXPANSION
Redeeming Life, an RSO of the LCMS, is planning to open a maternity home for single pregnant women in the greater St. Louis area.
For over 12 years, Redeeming Life’s maternity homes have shared a home, help, and hope with women in crisis, first in Sanford, FL, now also in East Dundee, IL.

Pregnant women in the program build life-skills and receive counseling and Christian support. They live rent-free whether they choose to parent or share their baby through the gift of adoption.

All programming is focused on helping residents to live full and independent lives.

WHY ST. LOUIS? WHY NOW?
We are a life-affirming alternative to abortion for women living in poverty and facing unplanned pregnancies.
Almost 30% of single women in the St. Louis region live below the poverty line, and many lack skills and education to pursue opportunities and jobs. They seek counsel and are told that having a baby will make things worse for them. Without help and support, they feel like they have no choice.
An abortion hub has been built and all too close in Southern Illinois, welcoming women from across state lines to terminate their pregnancies. This sobering reality shows women are in desperate need of compassion, of clarity, and of Christ-centered alternatives as they face unplanned pregnancies.

Together, we will provide holistic support for each resident, and care for their emotional, physical, financial, relational, and spiritual health.

IS GOD CALLING YOU TO BECOME AN ADVOCATE IN ST. LOUIS?
In order to redeem the lives of vulnerable pregnant women in St. Louis, we need local advocates all over Missouri. Advocates are passionate about maternity home ministry and help spread the word about the new Redeeming Life maternity home in their churches, organizations and neighborhoods to reach pro-life supporters and ask for support.

Focus & Time Commitment: Advocates are willing to attend 3 or 4 virtual meetings each year, keep their congregation informed and engaged with the maternity home, and help garner financial support for the ministry. We have videos and materials to help local advocates build awareness, generate excitement, and share updates about this expansion project.
