After one of our residents has had her baby, she may stay in the house until a place in transitional housing is ready for her.
We will connect our residents who have decided to give the gift of adoption with a local adoption agency. We will walk along side them through the entire adoption process.
For our residents who decide to keep their babies, we will provide parenting classes to prepare them for taking on the role of parent.
Our residents will learn how to manage a household budget, cook nutritious meals,
We will connect each resident with the medical services she needs to maintain her health during her pregnancy.
Each resident will be encouraged to pursue further education than she has at the time of intake whether that be a GED, associates degree, bachelors, or beyond.
Each resident will either work or volunteer while she is living in the home. If she is currently unemployed, we will assit her in finding employment.
