Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries, Inc., which provides maternity housing and program services to women in crisis pregnancies, has purchased a second location to begin Phase 2 of the Ministry Vision: Transitional Housing.
Transitional housing expands the capacity of Redeeming Life to minister to women who graduate from the maternity home program and still need ongoing support and services critical to their stability and ability to become independent.
The purchase of this first transitional home was completed on January 16, 2018. The 1700 square foot home will undergo renovations necessary for it to function as a home for up to three women and their babies. Improvements will include expanding restroom facilities, kitchen renovations, flooring, and paint, as well as exterior upgrades and fencing. Once complete, we will celebrate our grand opening and welcome of our first residents.
Funding for this project comes from the generosity of our donors, contractors, and members of the community who are passionate about providing options for pregnant women in crisis! We can't thank you enough for your ongoing support to make this vision a reality.
The goal of Redeeming Life is to help women overcome barriers and to live happy, independent lives for themselves and their children. Since opening in December 2013, Redeeming Life has served 37 women with maternity home residency and intensive supportive services.
